A week or so back some hardy souls braved the elements to run in the Brighton Fun Run, raising over £500 for Lupus UK. I sat out with, ahem, a still slightly bruised tendon. But I was able to provide the service of official team photographer!

Wolf Pack! competing and finishing in a combined time of 2hrs 40mins and 8secs, raising (currently) £1042 for Lupus UK. Let’s just say that we didn’t all come away unscathed, but it was worth the pain for this wonderful cause.

The London 2012 Olympic Games - Cycling Road Race and Basketball Quarterfinals.

July saw the beginning of the 30th Olympiad in London and across Great Britain. I’d have loved to attend more events, but I am glad that at least I got out to see the Cycling Road Race pass by twice in the vicinity of Putney Bridge, the morning after the Opening Ceremony.

A week and a half later I got the chance to see Russia beat Lithuania 83-74, followed by Spain winning 66-59 against France at the North Greenwich arena, otherwise known as the O2. We might not have had tickets to the Olympic Park but at the end of the day we headed over to catch a view of the Stadium close to sunset. Hearing the cheers in the distance was more than worth the walk, epic stuff.
